McClain's body count isn't that impressive.

Paul Kersey killed more than a hundred in "Death Wish 3" alone. My particular fave was his disposal of The Giggler with his .475 Wildey Magnum, the greatest handgun ever made.

UPDATE: This guy's BLOG! officially credits Paul Kersey with 108 kills over the five "Death Wish" films.

I would've thought that number a wee bit low. But I defer to the guy in the BLOG!, who in turn credits someone who has gone to the trouble of creating a video montage of every death caused by the magnificent Mr. Bronson.

My advice is to only check it out if you have both the time and the bandwidth - it's 21 freaking minutes long! (and NSFW due to foul language and, I quote, "classic 1980s gratuitous nudity." )

 

Doesn't matter what the body count is to me, the one-liners from the original and even the others -- "Just the fax, ma'am, just the fax" -- are what make the movies for me.
