Agreed, but I'm sick of moving. I'd like a life less traveled.

It's nice to not have to search for the new grocery store, or know where to get the cheapest gas. Little things in life please me.

As for jobs since I've been here:

    College
    Reporter (6 months)
    Copy editor (1 year)
Copy editor (4.5 months) (worst career move ever, but wised me up on a few things)
EA (part-time) and copy editor (part-time) at two different joints simultaneously (6 months)
    Copy editor/web guy (1 year)
    Web guy (3.5 years)
    Web guy (2 years)

I registered on this site in 2003.

I've been at my current job since 1999.

Came 2003. Left one metro a few months after joining, have been at another one since.

    Signed on here in 2002.
I was designing sports pages at a daily then. I'm sports editor there now.
I did leave for about a year after I got married in 2004 for a paper in another city.
In 2006, I was invited to return to take the SE gig.

Still in the same place since October of 1999.

I have had two jobs in my "adult" life - which I consider after I got out of the Navy and college.

I spent 19 years at the same paper as a sports writer/assistant sports editor. I got out while the getting was good and have been teaching high school ever since.
