    About eight miles round trip. Down from 35 at my last job. I fill up once a week these days instead of twice, which is nice.

    About 40 miles.

    Although as a beat guy, I'm back and forth pretty much every day during the season, and once that ends, it's down to a couple days a week, tops, so it all evens out.

    About 6 miles roundtrip.
    I couldn't walk or bike because I need my car at work.

    I'm really lucky -- the team I cover practices and plays 7.5 miles from my house, which always takes between 15 and 20 minutes. There is a toll bridge.
    And I work at home a lot. I'd say I fill the tank once every 10 days to 2 weeks.

    26 miles round trip. I live near a highway that takes me right into the city where I work.

    I was looking at an apartment not long ago that would have put me a block and a half from my office. That'd have been sweet, but it didn't work out.
