I've seen him three or four times and he's always been funny. First time I saw him was back in the early '90s at Ballys. Hours after the show, I sat down at the casino lounge when they still had live music (it was good, too) and he was sitting there at the bar and nobody was bothering him. Of course, he didn't look like a freak then. He was wearing a big, floppy hippy hat and minding his own business. Talked to a (smokingly hot) dealer at the Hard Rock one night who went to high school with him and she said he wasn't funny or even very outgoing at all back then.

 

I remember first seeing him on Make Me Laugh of Comedy Central maybe 15 years ago, and I'd always try not to laugh long enough to outlast the contestants. I never even smiled when entered the set.

 

Regarding the thread title: I don't find it funny at all. The title is insensitive, and unless you have proof, you should immediately change it.
