How long do you keep media guides?

I'm doing some spring cleaning and came across NHL media guides from 2002 to 2009?

Please convince me to either keep them or throw them away.

    Toss 'em.

Throw 'em ... except for each year's champion. You can sell those to fans on eBay and make a little bit of under-the-table cash. :)

Not suggesting you do this, but I keep 'em all. They're like little yearbooks to me.

    Normal people, however, toss them.

Didn't someone get all pissy about this a few years ago on here? I am going to go look it up.

Toss em. Last week I had the same thing, found a handful and was like "Why?" Sure it's history and a nice keepsake, but mainly it's just clutter. I'll never refer back to them and in that rare case I do, most are archived in someone's database.

I'm almost surprised paper media guides still exist.

I may have racked in $200 on eBay over a set of WNBA guides ten years ago. Again, i may not have.

Joe, you nailed it. They seem cool to have, but will I ever open them? Probably not.

I may offer a couple to friends who are fanbois and the rest are headed to the recycle bin.
