How long before it's a streak?

I can't tell you how many times I've read in a story about a terrible team: "So-and-so, in a rare two-game winning streak ..."

Maybe it should be forever linked with the adjective "rare," but ...

According to the coach in Major League II, it takes three wins for it to be a streak.

"We won a game yesterday, if we win one today that's two in a row. If we win one tomorrow, that's called a winning streak. It has happened before."

This was in Major League, not II. And Lou Brown (a la Bumpy's post) is the manager in the film.

I was thinking that it was from Major League as well, but when I searched for the quote, everything said it was from No. 2.

... And I had forgotten that his character's name was Lou Brown. Sorry to be redundant.

I'm willing to go with whatever Lou Brown says on this one :)

Promise it's from the original. In the second one, Jake is the manager. The first one is when they have to win the division to stay in Cleveland.
He says this right before he peels off her first sticker of clothing.

I'm fairly certain I am right. But I have been wrong once before.

I go with the weathermen. It's not a heat wave until its 90 degrees for three straight days, so it's a streak when it's three wins in a row.

And at least two full steps.

    Otherwise it's still just flashing.

I think it's II, IIRC, before Lou has the heart attack and Jake takes over. They were a shittastic team in the early portion of that film.

Are this many people really admitting to seeing Major League II?
