How dumb are college students? We may have a winner.

A Canadian student at York University accused her professor of making an anti-Semetic remark because she wasn't paying attention in class. The professor is also Jewish.

To top it off, the student said she doesn't know if the professor is really Jewish or not.

    Oy, vey.

Loved the part where the student said she was being misquoted and ridiculed now in the media.

    From the story:

"She also has doubts that her professor is even Jewish.

“Whether he is or is not, no one will know,” she concluded. “Maybe he thought because he is Jewish he can talk smack about other Jews.” "

I'd hate to hear what she thinks of Obama's birth certificate.

I blame the media. And you know who controls them.

I'm disturbed by the ubiquity of the term "talking smack." Largely by people named Jim Rome. And this MENSA candidate.

It should be used in reference only to playground squabbles, boxing weigh-ins, and discussions on the delicious breakfast cereal Sugar Smacks.

Or when discussing the finer types of heroin.

She was described as a fourth-year student, but not a senior, and she was taking an introductory class. There is probably a good reason why she's still taking intro classes.
