I'd celebrate Steak and BJ Day with salmon.

Every Festivus, my friends and I go to the same bar in our hometown. We go for the wings, the nachos and the beer. Like usual, I got there before the other people -- nine in all -- so I pulled a couple tables and chairs together and ordered the drinks. I started to get texts and calls with my friends' orders, and when the waitress came over, I asked for several dozen wings and the Macho Nacho platter -- which is pretty darn big. She said, "I'm sorry, we're out of chicken wings and nacho cheese.

My heart hurt. Though it was probably the best thing for it. Festivus always brings out the pig in me.

I didn't have a potato in the house. I settled for Cookie Crisp.

Albeit in different wording, that's usually the response I get when I tell people I don't like steak. Sometimes it's OK, to me, but I'll never order it at a restaurant. Chicken, fish, salad, whatever. Anything is better than steak.

In Mike's high school yearbook, the quote next to his name was "to each according to their abilities, to each according to their needs."

How bad is it that I know that line only because I heard it on Seinfeld?

I was at a Taco Bell once and they ran out of chips or beans. Luckily it was late in the night and what I ordered didn't have what they ran out out of.
