I doubt that's likely to come up for years.

I believe that we do not and cannot know the answer to that and that to attempt to define god on our terms like this diminishes the concept of god rather than exhalts it, though I think it can be useful.

So, in turn, you don't think Jesus healed anyone on the spot, multiplied food out of thin air, walked on water rose from the dead, or did any of the "miraculous" things as detailed in the four Gospels?

    Do you think he did?

If a person believes in god, he/she believes in intelligent design.
    It's really that simple.

That's absolutely not the case. A belief in ID does not in any way necessarily follow from a belief in god.

Intelligent design: The theory that life, or the universe, cannot have arisen by chance and was designed and created by some intelligent entity.

Where did he say anything about atheism?

Technically that is the definition but it has also been hijacked by idiots who think that Jesus rode on dinosaurs.

I believe that every part of evolution is true. I also believe that things that can appear to be due to chance are all part of a design from God. I believe that God is the engine behind all science and creation. There is no way to prove it, but that is what I believe.

But if you ask me if I believe in intelligent design as defined by idiots who think Adam and Eve is not an allegory? Hell no. I am not an idiot.

I believe in science to explain all the hows, whats, whens and whos.

I have my faith for the whys. I see no conflict in this.

That's all well and good, but does nothing to refute the claim that you can't believe in intelligent design without believing in God.

I think the claim was that you can't believe in God without believing in intelligent design. I reject that wholeheartedly.

What belief in god does not include intelligent design?
Belief in god entails a god that is intelligent, right?
Belief in god entails a god with intent and purpose, right?

It's the watchmaker analogy. The god who put the materials and laws of physics in place and allowed existence to unfold.
    That's intelligent design.
