How do I turn off the alerts?

    I am getting an alert notification for every new post. I have turned off all alerts and still get them. Am I missing something?

    Oh, you mean the New Posts red flag on the blue and mostly white background?

    Yeah, I'd like to turn that feature off too. That little red flag causes a Pavlovian response in me. I obsessively scan what I missed, and Mark All Forums Read to turn it off. Then it reappears. I feel like Sisyphus.
