Wife and I ditched the idea of going to BDubs at about 11:40 a.m. after everyone bailed on the idea that we asked.
So I picked up tacos for her and ordered Chinese delivery for me.
Dragged out the TV from our bedroom and we had duel screens all day. We drank beers for an afternoon snack, she cooked up a frozen pasta thing for dinner and I finished my Chinese.
After she went to bed at 9, I flipped over and fast forwarded through both WCHA Final Five quarterfinal games to see Wisconsin blow out Minny State and Colo. Coll. get past NoDak in OT (college hockey for the uninformed)
Syracuse buzzer just sounded, ending a 12+ hour day of sports. Saw at least a half of every game and still got other stuff done.
Friday will do the same until I have to go to work at 6.

This has been our Thursday tradition for quite a few years now. She used to just watch the games at work, but she just takes the day off now.
This is one of the best long weekends of the year, IMO.

March Madness Live while I was at work. Not at all after that.

Listened on radio on a drive home from a road game. Vegged out and watched the rest on my recliner.

    Couch from noon until now.
My favorite NCAA Day 1 was a few years back; We had the TV with one game and a buddy came over in the afternoon with his laptop so we had two games going on those. At night, two more friends came with laptops and we watched the NCAA games on the computers with URI's NIT game on the TV.
The thing I'm most excited about is my wife isn't super pissed at me right now. The in-laws make an annual trip to PA the weekend before Easter to get polish kielbasa and some other goodies; I backed out. Mrs. Rhody is waking up in two hours, packing her car with her stuff and Lil Rhody, then heading to her parents so they can be on the road by 4:30.
I will have a weekend to watch hoops with zero responsibilty for maybe the last time until I'm 50 or so.

got to see Sparty send Valpo home before I had to go to work. Timed my lunch break to the end of the Michigan game so I just ran home and watched that. The rest I had the espn gametracker or whatever it's called on one tab of my browser at work while I typed up a few different things.

3 TVs in the newspaper office from noon-ish until last game ended. I might have been good entertainment during the MU-Davidson game (Class of 03), but laid off the foul language this year (because it was during office hours). Saw 10 a.m. game (MST) at home.

NCAA.com (and they've really built a strong platform) for all the afternoon games, TV for the night games.

I work from home, so I had it on in the background with no sound since the bulk of my job is video conferencing and conference calls...

I was on a conference call with a co-worker who is a St. Mary's graduate as that loss was happening... It was kind of funny to watch his reaction while trying not make it obvious that he was watching the game.

After work, I had it on until I went to sleep, but I was doing other things the whole time I was watching... With little kids, it's not like I'm going to hide from my family just so I can watch basketball without any distractions...

Dr. J and I have a tradition of making a huge breakfast before tipoff and watching everything straight through.

I had four mimosas by 12:30 yesterday, so I didn't see a lot of afternoon action.

We relaxed and stayed up through the Cuse game, and we'll do it all again for the next three days.
