How cold is it?

    it was 50 degrees here today, yet I still have a chunk of frozen snow next to my front door.

    First day back from vacation and hoping we hit positive digits -- with no wind. If we get a breeze, fuck it, I'm buying a Snuggie.

    My youngest son did this a couple of times yesterday out my bedroom window. Lots of fun. :)

    We got to -12 last night, and it's still -3. But it's a dry cold.

    ... it's so cold that I drank on a weeknight.

    When it got 30 below or lower, I would take the kids outside when they were little and we'd blow soap bubbles.

    The bubbles shatter.

    It hit minus-11 here in my neck of the woods early Monday a.m.
