Been there, done that.

I was in attendance when he recorded "You Had To Be There" at the Fox in Atlanta. I fully understand, and I still contend that if you showed up for that event in that suit you would receive multiple expressions of approval.

So did all Americans receive these payments? In Canada we have the Covid Emergency Relief Benefit which is $2,000/mo for anyone who has lost their job to Covid-19 which was approved for an initial 4 months. Folks like JR and I who have been lucky enough to work full-time from home don't receive any money .. it only goes to those who need it.

 

Most I think got the one time payment. If your income cleared a certain level I think it tapered off.

 

I also made the Lynyrd Skynyrd show at the Fox when they recorded "One More from the Road". I saw a lot of great shows in Atlanta during the 70's. One of the few benefits of being an Old.

 

Most people I know did. I, surprisingly, got a couple hundred dollars.
