al-Maliki demands a "specific deadline" for withdrawal of US troops from Iraq.
Simple answer: it's all yours, Nouri. We're outta here now.

  2. I always wondered what would happen if Iraq told us to leave. If they're a sovereign country, and we stay after they tell us to leave, then what?

They are a sovereign country that we invaded anyway.

Point is, al-Maliki wants a deadline, I'd give it to him...ASAP!

    Then we leave.

But not before a special delivery of cyanide-laced falafel. Followed by the installation of a friendlier puppet.

In other words, we leave when we're good and damn ready.

Maliki knows this. His government isn't yet unified enough to back him up.
