How about a Super Bowl 49 thread?

A few friends are coming over, I don't think enough to constitute a full fledged party. We're having vegetarian black bean chili, a great three-layer spread for chips and crackers Alice makes of cream cheese with garlic, pesto and sun-dried tomatoes, and the usual wine and beer.

For my Division round party we had 10 grown-ups, including my wife and I, and five kids, I think. So not too big.

Ah, basement bars. I miss the Midwest.

So here we are on Super Bowls Sunday 2015 and the official thread is an all-time low six pages even with thread diversions to the pros and cons of hosting a party and Deadspin's hardcore porn plea for attention. Speaks volumes about the NFL product relative to the carnival sideshows this season.

Well, there are separate large threads on the two big "stories" of the past two weeks. Think it speaks more to the media's coverage than anything else.

Come on. Who wants to read or post warmed over game analysis? I hope and think it will be a close game and maybe even an exciting one. Other than that, I got nothing.

Someone asked, who/what do you root for?

I'm looking for the Seattle team bus with Lynch and Sherman in the front seats, and the Patriots team bus with Belichick and Brady in the front seats, to have a pre-game head on collision.

jk of course. But that would make news and sort of screw everything up for this train wreck of a season for Goodell's NFL.

Keyshawn Johnson calls out Tom Brady for using allegedly deflated footballs but I've yet to see the story where he returned his Super Bowl ring because his quarterback admitted to paying to doctor the balls to the way he likes them.
Oh and Ray Lewis questioning the Pats' integrity and how their actions will affect their legacy is f**king cute.

    Can't disagree with that, either.

Don't think Chancellor is really hurt. It's a ruse

  12. If Brady wins, does he join Terry Bradshaw and Joe Montana as the best quarterbacks ever?
