I'm gobsmacked Deadspin would release that; in fact, I pretty much assumed it was a fake URL from someone far more clever than me. I was wrong. What the fuck is Gawker Media thinking?

    Why would that surprise you?

Because hardcore sex vids aren't usually a good mix for corporations. And make no mistake, Gawker is a major media group.

I don't know how I can take Deadspin seriously at this point.

I'll get up about 10:30, watch a little Premier League, then some hockey and maybe some hoops before I go to work about 4:30. Yep, I'm one of those lucky bastards that has to work desk on Super Bowl Sunday.

  7. I don't think they thought NBC was going to approve their ad anyway.

Why not? That's some family friendly fare, right there.
It's educational (teaches about anatomy), wholesome (those two are obviously married and in a loving, monogamous relationship) and appeals to both men and women. Frankly, the fact it was rejected is a traveshamockery.

I thought it was boring. Porn can be a LOT better than that clip.

This game should be played on a Saturday.

I hosted a Super Bowl party last year, and am officially doing so this year. I doubt anyone shows, though, due to the weather.

I also have started hosting a Division Round party for the Saturday night games. That's actually been a big hit with people. Clean-up isn't too bad. Pizza boxes. Some beer cans and bottles, and usually some sticky counters from cocktail-making.

The kids all make a huge mess, too, but that would happen with or without a party.

I love it. I have a little bar in the basement with a TV mounted and sports posters and 8x10s hanging. For a bunch of guys with kids, it's the closest we get to hitting a bar together for a game. My best friend from high school has a basement bar, too, with a Notre Dame football theme, and hosts a party every game he doesn't go to. It was tremendous when they opened with Navy at like 7 a.m. Pancakes and Guiness.
