How about a cage match between Gregg Doyel and this guy

It appears there's another journo out there who could duke it out with Board Fave Gregg.

Never heard of a first name of "O'Ryan", and not sure I've ever seen "shod foot" in print.

The reader comments are just hilarious. To summarize: 74-year-olds should just die, and anyone named O'Ryan from South Boston must have been drunk.

For those too impatient to click, here's synopsis from Romenesko:

Boston Herald crime reporter O'Ryan Johnson ... has been charged with kicking a 74-year-old man with emphysema in the chest at a laundromat. The 33-year-old newsman, who has a story (but not about this) in Friday's paper, tells the Eagle-Tribune that "I am not commenting on advice of counsel." His Facebook profile picture shows him in boxing gear punching another man in the face.

That a "shod foot" is classified as a dangerous weapon is something Shawn Suisham, Doug Brien and Scott Norwood already have made painfully clear.

Even with all that, who do we root for if he fights Doyel? :D

What if the foot was shod by a Hush Puppy, is it still a dangerous weapon?

What if the foot was first shorn, then shod?

My feet have been accused of becoming more dangerous as they become unshod. Toxic, anyway.

    A natural disaster?

    Spontaneous combustion?

Well, I don't know about the first part, but you gotta be better than 50/50 that the second part is true, right?
