Released this afternoon, along with Domanick Williams/Davis. Ron Dayne was signed to a new deal.

And the Texans get absolutely nothing for Carr or Williams/Davis, yet they lose two second-rounders to pick up Schaub. Jeebus...these guys can't do anything right.

didn't they have some offers for those guys last year?

Not David Carr. In fact, last year they resigned Carr prior to the draft, which meant it was a lock they weren't going to take Leinert or Young.

So they passed up Bush because they had Davis, and then get rid of Davis one year later? Whoever thought I'd be able to say "I'm glad I don't cheer for that team!"??

Does Donald Sterling own this team?

Wow. It took awhile but I really have found an organization that is run worse than the Seattle Mariners.

Dumbest franchise in the NFL... They didn't want Reggie Bush last year, but they were too stupid to trade down... They paid a 30-year-old running back $23.5 million and then released a former No. 1 pick when they undoubtedly could have gotten something for him... If they got to the draft and still there were no takers... Fine...

    Why cut the guy now?

Mark my words... Carr is going to make the Texans look really stupid as soon as he plays behind a decent offensive line...

    Carr to where, now?

Cleveland? Oakland? Dallas? Miami? J-Ville? Chicago?

sit for a few games and then do a Garcia-like job as an injury replacement?

I'll bet he starts for the fish and Culpepper gets dealt, maybe to Oakland...
