I have 1,825. Really regretting spending some on tournaments a while back, but it shouldn't take me too long to get to 2k. Would we want to do a tournament or cash game? I'm fine either way.

AFAIK, only private tourneys can be made. Could be wrong though. You playing tonight, Jake?

From a live tourney earlier tonight:

I hit an Ace-high straight on the turn and go all-in. The jackmonkey next to me -- who now has played nine hands in a row -- nails a boat on the river.

    My head almost exploded.

Why isn't the word "bet" used in the thread title?

    Not three outs, four.

    Actually, a little more than that for runner-runner T, J or A.

Almost a 1/10 to win the hand. Not horrific at all.

This is one of the tougher beats to see.

I was played in a tournament with Jerry Yang on Saturday. I was at his table and saw him put to wicked bad beats on a guy, crippled the guy with the first and knocked him out with the second. Yang should have been out of the tournament in the first 30 minutes.
A couple hours later he's whining about a suck-out going against him.

I have 1,996 points now, and will be at 2k this evening or tonight. Is there still interest in setting up a private tourney or cash game (whichever we could do)?

Still am interested. If people are free Wednesday evening, I'd love to do it then.
