    Here's the solution.

University/school takes a $500 graduation deposit from each student's family before senior year.

If there is a significant disruption, the deposit is lost.

Especially in that town. It lost its major employer, a Matag plant, about two years ago to outsourcing. Town has struggled since.

Then you'll have people yelling when their "enemies" are announced so their family would be out $500. ;)

Chicago's WBBM NewsRadio is reporting the Galesburg students *will* get their diplomas.

I am happy to see the matter resolved, But personally, I agreed with the decorum policy.

In my case, it took months after I "graduated" because I had one more class to take. Oh well. I don't even know where my B.A. is, let alone my high school diploma.

Cool to see a fellow UMCP grad on the board...

And those administrators who came up with that policy are major league fucktards. That is all.

Awww, fuck Caisha and her brood. They threw in the race card, and demanded an apology. Bullshit. It may have been a bush league policy, but they signed it. Not legally binding, for sure, but there is something to be said for being good for your word. F 'em. F 'em all.

I have no idea where either diploma I've ever earned is.
