Awesome This reads like something out of letters section of the American Rifleman.

American Badass! That was awesome. And also a positive example of the need for firearm rights.

Wow, Bama, that is scary. Glad you got out of there safely. A 1911 is a pretty big piece to carry. I have a concealed carry permit and my carry gun is usually a Glock 30.

But why pump her $20 in the first place?

She was a "not unattractive 20-something woman." Can't you read?

Yeah, I read that. But at that hour, with another man around, whoa nelly!

I've done it - but at a gas station without about 10 other cars plus the employees there.

Didn't hurt that there was a police cruiser also in the parking lot.

She was not unattractive and she started to sprout some tears. "Please help us."
What can I say, I still live by one of the Scout laws, which says "do a good turn daily." If they would've thanked me and not acted so shadily, it would've been a good experience. Instead, they made a permit holder think he was in serious trouble. I'm not some kind of cowboy looking to go Raylan Givens on someone, but I will defend myself if needed.

The 1911 is a big gun, but it is pretty skinny width-wise. I've tried smaller weapons, but none have felt good in my hands.

Sounds like you also follow the motto "Be Prepared!" Good!
