Holy Tebow! Nice new 'do

Can't believe this hasn't been mentioned, especially given the "victim" here:

Dez Bryant wouldn't carry shoulder pads. But Tebow is putting up with a little more severe hazing in Broncos camp.
Looks like the vets gave him a haircut yesterday.

 

I like it. I think they call it the Friar Tuck look. Hell, I may sport one.

 

Kinda looks like a crown of thorns

 

It is the Friar Tuck look and, meat, a co-worker of mine said the same thing.
Said it was "appropriate' that Jesus had a crown of throns.

 

"Actually, it's a buck-and-a-quarter quarter staff, but I'm not telling him that."

 

God bless him for being a good sport about this.

Can anyone remember anything this severe in the way of camp hazing? This is a whole lot more than just singing the Alma Mater.

 

At New Orleans Saints camp in 1998(?), rookies had to "run a gantlet" in the dark down the hall of the players' dorm as veterans hit them with pillows and other objects. Linebacker Andre Royal, one of the most criminally menacing players I ever had the joy of interviewing, decided to hit the rookies in the face with a sock full of quarters. He was traded to the Colts not long after that.

 

Yep. I remember that. Is he dead yet or what?

 

That's what I told my wife when I saw the photo as well.

 

Ho! Ha! Turn! Dodge! Parry! Spin! Thrust!

 

That is awesome.

I support anyone making that tool look foolish.
