    Ha! That brings back some memories. I started kindergarten in 1965 and was a devoted follower of Lost In Space. My brother is a year older than me and he started over-ruling me and forcing me to watch Batman -- on which I got quickly hooked.

    Seeing someone else point out that Lost In Space was one of the competing choices brought that memory rushing back to me.
