Wasn't Eric Show the Bircher, not Dravecky?

Him too, along with their Padres teammate Mark Thurmond.

Holy Moly is what you get when you mix Swiss cheese with guacamole.

Yes, I saw Sanford & Son.

IIRC, Browning broke his arm in San Diego early in 94. He tried a comeback the next season with the Royals, but it was short-lived.

......as are many things previously successful with the Royals.

The details are a bit fuzzy so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem remember when Kruk was on the All-Star team after coming back from cancer and he got a hit. The manager that year then sent in a pinch runner and Kruk opened his jersey to reveal a T-shirt that read, "That's it, I'm taking my ball and going home."

    That always cracked me up.

Are you going to be like this from now on?

    Because that would be cool.

He's been like that lots of times, Dye. Not afraid to bring the hatchet.

In defense of Eric Show, while he ended up a stark raving nut, he was also the only person from baseball to attend the funeral of ex-teammate Alan Wiggins. That should count for something.

Seriously considering it. Maybe I'll have a poll.
