I'm more of a looser. I thought of that on the bus ride in to work this morning.

Jenny was on today. I was singing along and saying the number 867-5309.. before I even registered what the hell was playing...

I graduated from college and got my first job in 1985. And I'm proud to say I don't know a damned thing about Summertime Girls.

I remember Y&T (and Mama's Boyz) opening a show for Twisted Sister in 1985 at my local rink, the Carmel Ice Skadium.

Sadly, they did not perform a Heavy Metal Ice Capades revue.

That was not so much a post as it was a cry for help.

The soundtrack for 1985 consists of Sus-sus-sudio on a loop.

    Otherwise, a good year.

    I remember Y&T.

This might be a West/East thing. The only rap station in Phoenix in 1985 I think was on AM radio.

    Tons of SKA, though.

    Pizza anyone?

I was born in 1964, and I've never heard this song once in my life.

    There was rap in 1985?

I was 16 in 1985 and I don't remember the song or video -- and with some of those bikinis (on the women, not the band), you'd think that would have registered with me.

    I was 21 in 1985 and drunk ... anything else, I deny.
