Re: Mr. Rodriguez, you are the weakest link

It's a sad day for a fan of any team in the upper two-thirds of the Big Ten.

But I'm glad this asshole got what was coming to him. From the way he dicked around with the Bama job, to the way he dicked around with the buyout business, it was only a matter of time.

Ummmm... guys... looks like the television station jumped to conclusions.

Detnews beat reporter Angelique Chengalis says the Rodriguez family has heard nothing.

Rivals says the meeting was moved and will be at Dave Brandon's house.

    So... yeah.

And Michigan would pay him the buyout because Brandon said the violations would not lead to dismissal.

Maybe Herbstreit was on the story.

I figured. You can't wait until after a pistol-whipping in a bowl game, then try to claim it was a for-cause firing.

I saw it the same way Coco did, LTL. If anyone thinks that Michigan will turn a blind eye and want Harbaugh, is fooling themselves. There are probably some in that UM administration who hasn't forgiven Harbaugh for that shot and Harbaugh hasn't forgiven them for not hiring him.

How messed up will be if Harbaugh comes in and has to dismantle the offense and defense in as many years? It'll take at best 2 years for Michigan to play the style that Harbaugh ran at Stanford. Michigan fans don't give a shit about patience most of the time.

Beat Ohio State and win the Big Ten is the only thing on their minds.

No fucking way he'll head back to Ann Arbor. I will have no sympathy for Wolverines fans if Brandon doesn't deliver Harbaugh to them.

Les Miles would be wise to get out of Baton Rouge after Saturday.

Or get Mike Leach, if UM can swallow their pride and get the Pirate.

There is a better chance that the next Pope will come from the membership of SportsJournalists.com than there is Mike Leach will be hired by the University of Michigan in any capacity.

I think Miles gets the job. If there's a buyout, LSU will probably waive it. :D

Don't forget, Rodriguez still owes about 2 years worth of buyout payments to WVU for breaking THAT contract. He might as well take whatever severance he gets from Brandon and hand it straight to WVU.

I don't think Leach is faxing his resume to Ann Arbor. :D
