Upwords!!!! God, did that game SUCK.

I'm pretty sure it's still in its original packaging in my parents' basement.

True (completely unfunny) story: I was like the 18th caller to some radio station and they gave me a "prize pack." So I go to the station and I get to pick one CD out of their case (most of which I'd never heard) and they handed me a little bag. I looked through it out in my car: A station hat, station t-shirt, and Upwords.

I never opened it, and gave it to Goodwill years later.

I loved Upwords. The only thing I didn't like was the board, which, I believe, was a little too small.

I was going to start searching, but I wasn't even born in 1986 when you loosers were playing with Jem, Popples and Upwords.

I didn't know Upwords was that old. I figured it was new in the early '90s.

In the deep recesses of my mind still rests the Popples commercial jingle.

"Pop your basketball Popple. Whose got the ball? I've got a Popple!!"

    Kill me now.

Can't. I'm a little bit in love with you for that.

Not as cool as Piotr knowing the Monchichis theme...but still.

And thinking of that has now embedded the Skip It! song in my head.

    I hate you.
