Hines Ward -- Hall of Famer?

    You could be right, but I should also point out there aren't many younger journalists on the Committee. When one passes on or is incapacitated, they tend to be replaced by the second-most senior reporter in their market.

    Amazing how Brown gets trumpeted. Many years he wasn't even the best player on his own team.

    I know he had a knee injury, but the early parts of his career are pretty bare.

    In what years was he not the best receiver on his team?

    I don't think Brown is a lock, but he should get in before Ward does.

    Herman Moore was once the best receiver on his team.

    And I'd argue he was a better player than Tim Brown.
