For a couple weeks in row, the show seemed to regain its fastball a little. And then this week was awful. Just plain awful. Mrs. Seahawk and I were both angry for having watched.

Saving graces of this week (plot-wise):

    • Lilly will be preggos in a year (I think that's what was said)
    • Like the goat, I hope they keep up with Ted in a dress down the line

    Nope.
Was bringing up the continuing themes that are connected to the supposed mother.

I thought last night's episode was pretty good. Marshall and Lilly freaking out was hilarious.

I liked it, too. Could it have been the absence of Zoey making it better? Hmmm

Yes, the Zoe character is a complete waste of time.

This show has become like Two and A Half Men to me - the old jokes have simply run out of steam.

Monday night is going back to being a reading night.

I actually still watch 2 1/2 Men because it's light and dumb and I don't have to pay much attention as I watch. I felt the same way about According to Jim.

HIMYM requires too much effort with virtually no payoff. I just don't give a shit about the characters to continue to watch.
