There was a documentary, I believe, called "The War Room"... Am I right about that, folks? Very good film.

That appears to be cutting-room-floor footage from that film.

    Oh boy.

But that has to be about 16 years old at least.

For those of us at work, what does the clip show?

    AQ: So?

Kantor's become enlightened and/or changed his mind about people who live in Indiana over the past 16 years?

I understand what you're saying but this would carry a lot more weight, in my opinion, if it happened last week instead of last century.

  8. Yes, people say untoward things about other people during campaigns.
    I'm fucking shocked.
(I love Wisconsin farmers, but you should have heard what I called them after the 1976 Democratic primary.)

First Down: A) Don't watch it at work. B) I can't totally explain it, but I'll try.

It's a scene on election night presumably November 1992 ??

It's Carville, Stephanopolous (sp?) and Mickey Kantor. Numbers have just come in from Indiana that show Bill Clinton leading 42-40.

    High fives all around.

Kantor is particularly struck with Clinton winning in Indiana and says, "Those people are shit."

He then goes on to call them "white n******."

Can I get some quick predictions...

    Scale of 1 to 10...

    10 being Imus/Rutgers...

1 being Obama turning down coffee and asking for orange juice...

    What will come of this?
