    I don't know from alibis.

I am talking about extremely negative reaction to any largesse bestowed on "illegal aliens."

I don't think there's any one issue you can point to on Hillary's campaign for blowing this lead, as much as the mismanagement of her campaign and Obama gathering momentum the more everyone sees him.

Yeah, but as markvid pointed out, this was from October.

Absolutely -- at which point she had a lead from Providence to Pasadena.
My point: it's steadily shrunk, since.

I think her desmise started when she put on that fake southern drawl down in Selma. Death blow was Bill's performance in SC. It turned Clinton supporters into Obama supporters over night.

She's always managed to talk the local talk. When she was doing time in Arkansas, you'd listen to her, close your eyes, and swear she was a native.

Have said this before, and still agree . . . 42's disingenuousness the evening following the South Carolina business has hastened the decline.

  9. Not that it matters, of course, but the "fake Southern drawl" was an urban myth, too. She was quoting, in dialect, from an old Southern spiritual.

As with most things, it went right over Boom's head.

Right - I've heard politicians doing a German accent when quoting Mein Kampf

  12. If they were quoting it IN GERMAN, they likely did.
