High school soccer state championships in Middletown, NY

    This might be a bit of shot in the dark, given the specific need, but ...

    The Buffalo News is looking for a freelance writer to cover the New York state high school boys soccer semifinals and finals (if a local time advances) on Saturday-Sunday, Nov. 10-11.

    The Buffalo area has two teams playing in semifinal games Saturday at 1:30 and 4. Winners advance to Sunday finals at 10:30 and 1.

    Looking for game stories of about 500 words with quotes, etc. Fee is negotiable.
