Considering their defence sounds like it had 12 players on the field, it's no wonder they couldn't turn that numerical advantage into points. Did they make the convert?

Kickoff and punt returns are not considered defense (or defence), at least not in American football. They are special teams plays, and thus go into a separate category.

 

The spelling of defence is offencive.
