    Your job isn't to make these kids employ good etiquette. That's the coach's job. Your job is to put out the best newspaper you can and if that means running a great photo of some kid reacting to a missed shot or a ho-hum photo of some kid's follow-through, go with the great photo.


    BTW, anybody else getting the ad at the bottom for "caddychicks.com?"

    I've got no problem printing the photo of the kid splashing out of the puddle. I think it's hilarious and probably really good art.

    But what strikes me is that this is one of those situations where we take things more seriously than the people we cover. We're there to do our job and put out the best paper we can. If the kids are just goofing and don't care about it too much and then we go and put it in the paper -- thereby deeming it "coverage-worthy" -- what does that say about us?
