    Jeez, Cleveland's team must have been easy to beat. They were playing with one player. That's what the headline says at least.

    Sometimes the best editing you can do is to leave the writer's byline on the story for all to see. Teaches the clown a lesson. Pity, though, that he couldn't remove the editing credit.

    Salvo is on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Gene Cherry used to be the track and field writer for the Raleigh News and Observer.

    Good for him. Now why is Reuters having a writer in North Carolina covering a game at Yankee Stadium. Can't they staff it?
