Last month our country's finest tased a confused Polish tourist who had been waiting in the luggage pick-up area in Vancouver for ten hours. The three fucking Horsemen of the Canadian Apocalypse walked in, confronted him and 24 seconds later, jolted him three times--and he had no weapon and his hands were in the air. He died on the spot

Those three bastards should be charged with manslaughter.

Wasn't he waiting for his mother? I read that she had told him to wait for her in baggage claim, but that it was a part of the airport that she couldn't get to because you had to go through customs, etc. He was just a confused guy trying to figure out how to get to his mom.

When I read that I almost cried.

Yes, he was in a secure area. Some airports (Calgary, for example) have cameras in that area so that the people waiting could see their loved ones. In this case, the mother waited 7 hours before reluctantly concluding that he had missed the plane since nobody had told her that he was there and she couldn't see the baggage carousels.

A stupid camera would have changed everything.
