Hey Armchair, your boy Pollard is at it again!

Iowa State AD Jamie Pollard sent an ISU fan an email, replying back to the fan's displeasure of the basketball program.

Nice way to have this in the way of ISU playing Texas tonight in the Big 12 tourney in K.C.

If the reply email is from Pollard, I don't have the words to even describe him right now.

 

Pollard's right in keeping McDermott, but...wow.

 

Attention Jamie Pollard: The average fan who does nothing but sit on his ass and watch you on TV and bitch when you lose is more valuable to an athletics program than the average AD. Why? Because he is a consumer. In between his sitting and watching and bitching he is shown hours of advertising, which is the engine that powers your conference's television deal which supplies the largest portion of your revenue and pays your salary. You insult him at your own peril.

 

Poin, point well taken, but the Big 12's TV package is horrendous. There's no way that Pollard could even get the cash from commercials to bank roll an athletic program that ranks near the bottom of the league in $$ in their coffers.

These emails are getting a lot of reaction from ISU fans tonight.

They're pissed and insulted.
