We don't need to spell no freaking foreign name right. If he wanted his name spelled right, he'd change it to Smith or something American.

We barely did. Figured few would, and I haven't seen it changed on the wire yet.

And from a style stand point, I hate "pitched three-hit ball over seven innings."
Why not just say "Hudson gave up three hits in seven innings."

because "three-hit ball" sounds like something they say on ESPN

That's what he gets for raping the Mets. Watch out, Larry; you and Shea are next.

    Jones' lifetime stats at Shea: .302, 17 HR (85 H in 281 AB). Lifetime vs. the Mets: .332, 36 HR, 110 RBI (194 H in 584 AB).

Thanks for checking in, Mike. ;D

(Piazza: "I will not call a grown man Chipper.")

Dynamite. I'd name my kid Chipper, but then I'd have to beat him. And I'm not cool with that.

Piazza was just trying to push his "I'm not gay" agenda. Methinks he doth protest too much.
