I thought I was just missing it repeatedly. It's now 10:15. This is ridiculous.

  3. Well fuck you very much, NASCAR.

I just checked nascarmedia.com and only unofficial results are up.

  5. Can you post that, just in case? I don't have a password for that site, and our NASCAR writer is on the plane back from Daytona by now.

I may have my NBA All-Star page out before the Daytona ones. That's a bunch of bullshit NASCAR.

What could possibly be the holdup? (I'm not buying the computer glitch option.)

The holdup is the clusterfuck of a finish and the requisite replay reviews. NASCAR "locked" -- its term -- the results for a total review.

That's not a computer glitch then.

AP was making a habit last year of not moving the results until the money winnings were in hand. Tonight, we had a 10 p.m. one-and-done holiday floor time. So at 9:40, I just went to nascarmedia.com and typed the info into our template. It's something we might have to do anytime there's a late race this year. I'd rather do that and mark them as unofficial than not have them at all.

But that's just a lie. The unofficial results were up there by 9 p.m., and they were the same ones that AP released at 10:55.

Makes you wonder how you, I and the guy on his sofa can have the results in front of them at 9 p.m., and AP says they don't ... huh?

  12. The holdup, my guess, is the money won and the post-inspection process......
