    I am currently slogging through the third season of the old-school Star Trek on DVD, and I just watched the Space Hippies episode.

    Sadly hilarious, from beginning to end. With the bonus being Charles Napier - the leader of the Good Ol' Boys from "The Blues Brothers" - playing Adam, the only one who can sing.

    "Gonna crack my knuckles and jump for joy, I got a clean bill of health from Doctor McCoy."

    (Plays Spock's Vulcan Lyre) "That's now, man! That's real NOW!"

    Good stuff. And oh so dated.

    Spock jamming with the aliens was always a highlight for me.
    That and the villain's amazing ears.
