    And . . .it begins.

Bored so far. Standard comic book, "oh NO! a bad future! Can they possibly prevent it!!!!????" cliche sets the stage.

    See you after the show.

All right, so I didn't tune in til the episode actually started at 9 p.m. Was there something new added to the story during the pregame?

BTW, I have come to believe these actors are lousy.

Added nothing. Kind of like BSG's What The Frak?, only with unnecessary padding added.

"I want to be a hero! Let's open the safe!"

    Going against his father's request?

    SERIOUSLY?!

    What 12-year-old wrote this?

Don't open the safe ... that five minutes ago you didn't know existed and wouldn't have been able to open anyway.

Wow, NBC. A one-hour lead in? Over-hype much??

The Dick Tracy of season premieres.

Also: pretty cool that in the span of less than 24 hours since the second season finale, Latino Sickness Chick has had a chance to completely change her hairstyle and makeup style. OK, her whole look.

Gee . . . think Suresh might give HIMSELF a power?

Wow, a big folder called "LEVEL 5!!!" He doesn't look at any other, but grabs only that one. God, this show just beats you over the head with its simple plotlines.

They've got to drop a real bomb about 21 minutes from now or I'm going to go find out who killed Horatio Caine.

Which season will have a worse ending -- the Patriots' or Heroes?

Suresh is one of those guns save life guys, huh?

Cheesy, but well-played scene where Sylar took Claire's power. Still . . . if anyone can explain how a watchmaker knew to do that - whatever he did - I would appreciate it.

    Ooh . .Linderman! Manipulating Nathan!

I guess I could just go watch my Season One DVDs again after all . . . . that was when the show had the balls to kill characters off and leave it that way.

He's not a watchmaker, his original power was to see how things work and apply it. That's how he takes powers, and that's why he was so good with the watches and clocks.
