    Next time tell the guy that you prefer he call you "your highness" instead as you are a minor noble from Croatia and it is more befitting your status.

    I don't mind boss or chief, but both can definitely be said derisively. It's all about context, tone or inflection. You can usually tell if someone is trying to be a dickslap when they say it.

    Other fun names to call people that can make them feel like little boys:
    tiger ... How ya doin' there, tiger. :p
    sport ... Calm down there, sport.
    ace ... Whatever you say, ace.

    Delivered properly during in an impending brouhaha in a bar or wherever, these little names can immediately take the fuckhead who's starting with you down a notch.

    Sadly, the passive agressive use of these terms is the subject of a Dane Cook bit.

    I'm ashamed by this knowledge. Because Dane Cook sucks, bad.
