It's an accurate measure of the U.S. sports zeitgeist right now.

 

As much as it's annoying seeing SI's love affair with Boston, they are kind of at the central of American sports right now, as disgusting as it may be.

My only problem is, it's like a cop out. SI could put Boston on the cover EVERY week. We will see the Celtics again soon and the Patriots at least three more times before Super Bowl.

 

Like this hasn't happened before with the Bulls and Jordan being on the cover three weeks in a row? At least this was different teams ...

My only question was what would have happened the to Pats LB story if they lost to the Colts? Do you think SI had an Indy feature ready to go on the front?
