    U.S. College Hockey Online (www.uscho.com), the leading website covering NCAA hockey, is seeking writers for roles in the 2013-14 season and beyond in the following area:

    * WIAC Columnist
    * ECAC Northeast Columnist
    * MASCAC Columnist

    USCHO columnists provide complete coverage of the teams and leagues in their beat, including season previews, weekly columns and blogs. They also contribute to game coverage, live blogs and coverage planning and have the opportunity to write paid-per-piece news and feature stories.

    Duties are:
    * Write a weekly notes package on the league's hot topics, generally 700-1,000 words
    * Contribute to the Monday morning national weekend roundup blog post by taking a turn in the writing rotation (generally two times per season)
    * Contribute to national weekend preview coverage with matchup analysis and picks
    * Write a league season preview with capsules on each team included
    * Contribute to postseason coverage with advances on teams from their beat for levels of the NCAA tournament
    * Develop news and feature story ideas on topics in their beat, and have the first opportunity to write them for the per-piece rate

    Pay is $400 for the year per league covered.

    Applicants should submit a letter of interest, a brief history of related experience and work samples by Oct. 20, 2013, to: Todd D. Milewski, executive editor, todd.milewski@uscho.com
