Help Me Talk Killick Into Watching Breaking Bad

To really get into this show, you should watch it from the beginning. I think you would be missing out on a lot to not start from day one and see how the characters have changed, gradually, over time. They did not just jump from point a chemistry teacher to point z meth kingpin.

Between "meth heads in tighty whities" and that... I'm thinking I'm gonna have to pass.

So you're saying you're not secure enough in your masculinity to watch a bunch of guys in tighty whities? Huh-huh?

If this show originated on TV in England, than Killick would be all in.

For the record, he hasn't watched any of the good shows out recently on the non-major networks, preferring to not watch Mad Men, Walking Dead or Breaking Bad.

Too bad because if he liked Rescue Me, he'd love these three.

It offers good career guidance for a post-newspaper world.

    This.

I didn't watch the first two seasons and I caught up some time during Season 3.

It's the best show I've ever seen.

It's better than The Sopranos. It's better than Mad Men. I watch a lot of TV and it's the best show I've ever seen.

It's as close to perfect as any show I've ever seen.

I tired of it and gave up on it, but it's an interesting show.

Sadly, true. I'm a closet Limey. Never watched the shows you mentioned, never saw an episode of Sopranos (which I'm sure I'll be pilloried for). Just not my thing.

All I can tell you, is I LOVE British TV and wasn't into "Breaking Bad". Watched it only because JR turned it on. It's really fucking good.
