Take care of your fence and try to keep the dog from getting out. Dogs dig out of curiosity or boredom. A shock collar or one of the invisible buried fence borders could work.

Keep it about 8-10 inches off the exact line so you can trim the weeds. Build it up and plant something like day lilies or mondo (monkey grass) inside the border.

If he doesn't like it, fuck him. Take care of your yard and your dogs.

Damn good advice as well.

If I am sidewalk chalking with my daughter in my driveway, I don't care how big the dog is. If she is bitten, it will be a major problem with me.

I'm guessing the dogs are a big issue with him.

One other thing. It is important that you don't just let him use that piece of property for himself. Depending on the state, there are laws called Adverse Possession, in which a person who continually uses a piece of property for a certain length of time (in years) can claim that land for themselves.
