    Hey, thanks all.

    Doing okay today.

Followed Lugnuts "stubborn" line last night: Popped aspirin and went to bed right away. Feel better today - I can tell it's still "there" but it's not painful.

I'm happy that my son's best friend has a father who is a cardiologist. Seeing him tomorrow. He told me it's probably stress but will check it out.

    Thanks, posse.

Hey - from one fella to another: Hope it's nothing and you feel better!

Good luck. And I know you'll never say "fella" again. :D

When it comes to your heart, take no chances. See the doctor.

My friend had a similar issue last week and found he had an artery that was 98% clogged. Had he not responded to the warning signs, he might not be here today.

Sounds like good news on this one but we should really keep a portable defibrillator here at SJ for emergencies.

Anyhoo, a couple of helpful hints.

If you suspect heart woes, don't listen to this album:

And don't run into someone who would give you the kind of love this woman received:

Seven or eight years ago, I went to the ER after having chest pains. I still don't know what it was but they ruled out a heart attack. I told the doctor I felt stupid wasting their time. He said he'd rather people come in like I did than die in the street.

Do we have an update on how things went with the cardiologist?

    UPDATE...

Not going to believe this (or maybe you will).

Raking leaves vigorously last week pulled a muscle in my chest. The stress of the week also led to my incident Saturday night.

Heart is fine. I checked out okay.

Silly as I feel... better than hearing "you need a new heart".

Nothing good ever comes from raking leaves.
