Simon, you are nothing if not random.

I prefer eclectic, but random is fine.

Both places were superb in what they do.

Anyone who can tell me if Frontera is too fancy for baseball bums?

It's not 'fancy' but it's very upscale. I wouldn't go there straight from the ballpark if that's your plan.

Rick Bayless owns both Frontera Grill & Topolobampo, which are right next to each other.

Frontera is the less casual of the two, but I think you might be a little uncomfortable if you come straight from the game in shorts/t-shirts type attire.

Do you have time for a quick cleanup at your hotel? It's not stuffy or over fancy, but it's not as casual as a place like Smoque. It's the kind of place that I would wear dark jeans & a button down shirt.

Piece, Fat Willy's, Jerry's, Twin Anchors, or any of the deep dish pizza places would be better if you're going straight from the game.

Still not as bad as the time someone recommended the ESPN Zone in Times Square on an NYC food thread. And they were serious.

But they have real big TVs and big chairs!
