  1. Been to enough of these to know, no matter what age, they WILL ask you how much you make. And kids know if you are bs-ing them.
    I usually tell them: find a job that they love so much they can't believe they are getting paid to do it.
    generally even after nearly 30 yrs. doing this i still feel that way.
     
  2. They definitely ask how much you make, even though the number probably would mean absolutely nothing to them. They don't know the difference between $25K and $200K. However, kids at that age absolutely will decide to respect you based on whether you make a lot of money or not. Even moreso than adults. So tread lightly.

    The other question I always get: "Are you famous?"

    That is the only thing that matters to them even more than how much moolah you pull.
