If you're a pro wrestling fan even slightly, I highly recommend, "Around the Workd in Spandex," the Chris Jericho story.

Every bit as good as Foley's NY Times bestseller. And funnier.

"A Painted House" by John Grisham.
Deals with a cotton-growing family in 1952 Arkansas, small-town and country life (yes, there is a difference), hillbillies, Mexican workers, Southern life, murder ... but not lawyers.

    "Aztec" by Gary Jennings.
Historical fiction dealing with the final years of the Aztec empire in Mexico, told from the point of view of one man. Wars, commerce, life, death, marriage, love, betrayal, vengeance, incest ... long book with an interesting view.

I really enjoyed 'The Year of Living Biblically,' and I am very not-religious.

No, we (as in the book club) maintain a Web site. And the guy who does it, not me, always throws in a snarky comment for each book.
I'll PM the site, it will, hopefully, make more sense then.
